**Job Title: Fork Truck Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Fork Truck Operators to join our team at a third-party logistics company. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks to manage chemical drum transportation within the warehouse. This is a critical role requiring attention to detail in a chemical facility environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move chemical drums within the warehouse. + Use a paper pick sheet to identify and locate items. + Load chemical drums onto forklifts and transport them to the staging dock. + Label chemical drums appropriately. + Repeat the loading and transporting process as needed. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months experience with forklifts and pallet jacks. + Minimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse. + Attention to detail, especially in a chemical facility environment. + Experience in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts. + Capability to handle heavy lifting and shrink wrapping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No specific education requirements. + Must wear steel-toed shoes. + Reliable attendance record. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a stable and growing company. The role is for the 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday. Training will be provided on the first shift for the first two weeks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selkirk, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
