Supply Chain Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.You will be mainly accountable for:Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.Executing routine activities according to established proceduresPicking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets.Transporting boxes, and being responsible for various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.Follow all ABB safety policies, safety training and hazard communication information. This includes but is not limited to wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut resistant gloves, and safety sleeves when required.
Qualifications for the roleMust possess the following skills after a reasonable training periodWill be required to be certified on forklift every 3 years.Equipment includes but is not limited to forklift, Bigfoot, electric and manual pallet jacks, and controls with buttons. Ability to understand production orders, schedules, and special instructions related to your task and complete inspections as required.Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other tasks that might not be listed, as needed.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
