Forklift Operator - Day

Job Description

We are seeking experienced forklift operators to supply materials to assemblers for production and transport completed parts to the shipping area for delivery. Operators may also be responsible for loading trucks with completed parts in the shipping/receiving area. Candidates should be capable of operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, though strong sit-down experience with the ability to be trained on a stand-up forklift will also be considered.

Work Environment

The facility operates in tight quarters, requiring strong attention to safety due to the high number of forklifts and personnel. The environment is not climate-controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. This is a union environment, and union dues will be required once converted to a full-time employee. However, no union dues are required during the contract period. The shift hours are Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm, with potential overtime up to 2 hours after your shift, and occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays.
