Description COMPANY in SOUTH HACKESACK, NJ Looking for a Forklift/Shipping & Receiving Worker!

 

Location: South Hackensack, NJ Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available Pay Rate: $18-$19 Depending on Experience

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Checks freight for damage; counts freight to match with bill of lading. Performs shipment processing, including counting, packaging, weighing and labeling of materials. Loads trucks. Writes orders and maintains staging area. Prepares bill of ladings and other miscellaneous forms, including those for waste paper trucks. Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including forklift, elevator and stretch wrapper.-  SIT DOWN/REACH Prepares shipping documentation (bill of lading, packing slips, etc) on any urgent last minute shipments. Coordinates pickup and deliveries with outside carriers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to write legibly Ability to operate a computer employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
