Job Title: Utility Associate
Job Description

As a Utility Associate, you will operate a forklift to move parts, load and unload equipment, and handle shipping and receiving of parts from various sources. You will also be responsible for cleaning and prepping equipment for shipment and storage, as well as other duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesKeep shop clean and organized.Perform general maintenance on equipment and buildings.Pick-up and delivery as required.Maintain steam cleaner/parts cleaner equipment.Ensure that material/components removed from vats are properly cleaned and organized.Steam clean parts, engines, and other equipment.Assist Technicians as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of experience in a Utility Person position.High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Ability to effectively operate forklifts.Ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner/parts cleaner.Ability to effectively operate general hand tools.Ability to effectively operate overhead cranes.Good organizational skills.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Word (Intermediate level).Team player: Works well as a member of a group.Detail-oriented: Capable of carrying out tasks with all necessary details.Functional expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject.Self-starter: Inspired to perform without outside help.Motivated by growth opportunities and the chance to take on more responsibility.Flexibility: Inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set your own schedule and goals.Why Work Here

Work Environment

Work primarily in a shop environment, which is non-climate controlled. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional extended hours. The role requires sitting, occasional bending or kneeling, lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 lbs., and reaching overhead for lightweight items.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $45000.00
