**Job Title: Forklift Driver**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a motivated individual to be trained as a forklift driver to move products around our production facility. The role involves following orders to pick up glass products with a forklift and transport them to various destinations, including staging areas for production, storage areas, or loading and unloading trucks for transport or shipping. The individual may also be responsible for ensuring the production line has sufficient materials to keep running, moving and emptying racks, and loading/reloading packers. Some computer skills will be needed until system updates are implemented.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a forklift to move products around the production facility.
+ Follow orders to pick up and transport glass products to necessary destinations.
+ Ensure the production line has enough product to keep running.
+ Move and empty racks as needed.
+ Load and reload packers.
+ Get on and off the forklift to adjust as needed and wrap/package products.
+ Utilize computer skills for system operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Forklift operation experience (preferred, but not required).
+ Material handling experience (preferred, but not required).
+ Manufacturing labor/production experience (highly preferred).
+ Basic computer skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous forklift or material handling experience (preferred).
+ Shipping and receiving experience.
+ Stand-up forklift operation.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is typical of a manufacturing facility, being clean and well-laid-out. It can get cooler in the winter and hotter in the summer, but no work is conducted outside. The facility is designed to provide a safe and efficient workspace for all employees.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tipton, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75
