**Job Title: Forklift Driver** **Job Description** We are looking for an individual who will be trained to operate a forklift to move products around our production facility. The job involves picking up glass products with a forklift and transporting them to various destinations, such as staging areas for production, storage areas, or trucks for transport or shipping. Responsibilities include ensuring the production line has enough product to keep running, moving and emptying racks, loading and reloading packers, and occasionally getting on and off the forklift to adjust, wrap, and package products. While there is no scanning involved, some basic computer skills will be needed until our system is updated. **Responsibilities** + Operate a forklift to move products within the production facility. + Follow orders to pick up and transport glass products to various destinations. + Ensure the production line has sufficient products to maintain operations. + Move and empty racks as necessary. + Load and reload packers. + Adjust, wrap, and package products as needed. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation + Material handling + Basic computer skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience (preferred but not required) + Material handling experience (preferred but not required) + Manufacturing labor/production experience (highly preferred) + Shipping and receiving experience + Experience with RF scanners + Experience with stand-up forklifts **Why Work Here?** This is a very large employer in Blair County with a clean and automated facility.
