We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift in a high-traffic area, ensuring the efficient movement of recyclable and trash materials. This role requires excellent attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $19.00 an hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 5:00am

Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport recyclable materials within the facility. Navigate high-traffic areas safely and efficiently, avoiding hazards and ensuring the safety of all personnel. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist with sorting and organizing recyclable materials as needed. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a high-traffic or industrial setting. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
