key responsibilities

Shipping and receiving experience to handle incoming and outgoing shipments

Proficiency in operating Hi-Lo or other types of forklifts

Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently

Familiarity with warehouse layout and organization for effective materials handling

skills

Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting

Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas

Move and stack materials using forklifts or other machinery

Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

qualifications

We are looking for people who have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to working safely, the willingness and ability to be trained, and a strong work ethic.

Previous experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting

Knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling procedures

Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment

Mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment
