Responsibilities:
-Performs one or more of a variety of functions in a Distribution Center environment associated with fulfilling orders. Potential work assignments include Receiving, Labeling, Put away, Order Picking, Slotting, Replenishment, critical ship today sure order fulfillment. ... -Capable of reading incoming tasks via electronic WMS and select the correct items from the warehouse shelves to avoid errors.
-Count out the appropriate number of goods to fulfill an order and complete the tasks via electronic WMS.
-Inspect and verify material picked/put away is free of any visual damage.
-Store materials in designated warehouse locations and ensure proper organization and labeling.
-Load, inspect and verify outbound materials against shipments / bill of ladings.
-Safely operate forklifts (reach and or order/cherry pickers, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
-Resolve discrepancies. Research all workable solutions to ensure order picking / put away is accurate.
-Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including good housekeeping.
-Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.
-Use of RF scanner and computer keyboard required.
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
-Continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
-Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).
-Capable of managing multiple tasks without losing efficiency or productivity
-Other duties as assigned.
