Job Description
We are seeking a warehouse and forklift operator who will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations. This role involves unloading trucks (using a sit-down forklift or by hand), accurately receiving parts into the computer system, tracking inventory, staging products for shipping, loading trucks, and servicing the production area. The ideal candidate will work somewhat independently, managing time and prioritizing work duties effectively. This position requires multitasking abilities, responsibility for accuracy, and attention to detail.
ResponsibilitiesUnload trucks using a sit-down forklift or manually.Accurately receive parts into the computer system.Track inventory and manage inventory control.Stage products for shipping and load trucks.Service the production area as needed.Operate hydraulic movable forks to handle large spools of wire without damaging the product.Stack products on skids by hand and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.Work with freight companies, including over-the-road carriers, LTL, UPS, and FedEx.Use shipping software such as UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager.Strap, wrap, and weigh pallets, and complete LTL Bills of Lading.Essential SkillsExperience with forklift operation.Computer literacy.Self-motivation and organizational skills.Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.Experience with shipping software (UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory control.Ability to use a tow motor or willingness to learn quickly.Familiarity with RF scanners.Experience with picking, packaging, loading, and material handling.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Most job duties will be performed in a warehouse environment that is part of a manufacturing company. Some responsibilities will involve transporting products to the manufacturing area and picking up finished products to move to the shipping area. The company handles materials such as spools of wire, large bags of plastic pellets, and other components on skids and in boxes to make cord sets for electronic equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
