Saia is currently recruiting experienced Forklift mechanics to join our team.  Don’t miss this great opportunity to join one of the most successful LTL carriers in the U.S!    As a Forklift Service Technician you will diagnoses failures, make repairs and maintain all systems and parts associated with diesel and propane power forklifts manufactured by Nissan, Toyota, Hyster and others.

Job Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, repairs and rebuilds propane and diesel forklift enginesUses hydraulic jacks or hoist to gain access to the underside of the unit and to aid in the removal or replacement of assemblies such as engines, transmissions, differentials, etc.Uses electronic diagnostic tools and computer software to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of forklifts engine, braking, electrical, hydraulic, cooling and exhaust systems

Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years Forklift Mechanic experienceASE master mechanic certificationFactory training and certification in diagnostic softwareTraining in transmissions and rear end rebuildingTraining in repair hydraulic lift systems
Pay Rate: $33.50 - $38.50 per hour, based on experience
