**Job Title:** Forklift Maintenance Technician
**Job Summary:**
Seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of forklifts. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze and diagnose equipment breakdowns and performance issues.
+ Recommend and execute appropriate service and repair actions.
+ Conduct scheduled maintenance as per company procedures.
+ Document each service call with necessary paperwork.
+ Observe safety procedures and ensure hazardous waste is properly disposed.
+ Maintain company service vehicles, including regular maintenance tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.).
+ Secure and manage parts inventory in the service vehicle.
+ Provide and maintain personal tools required for service duties.
**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ 3-5 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
+ Experience in forklift repair is essential.
+ Technical or mechanical training/certifications preferred.
+ Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Ability to interpret schematics and use electrical diagnostic instruments effectively.
+ Proficiency in operating power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
