Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join their team. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Mechanic

Location: Quincy, IL

Pay Range: $25 per hour

What's the Job?

Perform primary maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14 Clark, Caterpillar, and Toyota LP fuel forklifts. Contribute to the repair of two dump trucks and two front-end loaders. Assist other maintenance staff with lubrication and minor fabrication tasks. Provide millwright assistance as needed. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

What's Needed?

Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
