**Job Title: Forklift Mechanic** **Job Description** The core mission of the Forklift Mechanic is to repair and maintain customer equipment, including people movers, forklifts, and related warehouse equipment, in a safe and professional manner. You will operate out of the Lansing area and travel throughout the Chicagoland area, including downtown. All service activities will be completed in accordance with OSHA and company safety guidelines. Your overall responsibility is to follow the company's values and culture to provide an extraordinary customer service experience. **Responsibilities** + Maintain a clean and safe work area, including your company vehicle. + Maintain positive customer relations. + Follow all company operating and process procedures. + Complete all repairs as directed using company and manufacturer procedures and guidelines. + Communicate with the dispatcher to maintain efficient and productive activity. + Travel to customer sites. **Essential Skills** + Forklift repair + Preventive maintenance + Troubleshooting + Basic understanding of small truck/forklift electrical systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Projects are completed with 100% customer satisfaction. + Proper documentation is submitted to the sales team within 24 hours of job completion. + Arrive on time and follow company protocols. + Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. + Turn in all warranty parts the same day as the repair. + Wear the required uniform and ensure a professional appearance and attitude at all times. **Why Work Here?** We are one of the fastest-growing companies in the material handling space, growing 375% year-over-year in 2021.
