Forklift Operator - $17 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials, goods, and products throughout the warehouse or production facility. The Forklift Operator will also assist with loading and unloading trucks, storing, and organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: + Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials, goods, and products throughout the warehouse or production facility. + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. + Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning. + Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory. + Load and unload trucks and other transportation vehicles. + Communicate with other team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks. + Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy. + Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately. + Undertake any other tasks as directed by the management team. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or a degree in a related field is preferred but not required. + Valid forklift operator certification and previous experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment. + Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain inventory accuracy. + Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. + Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. + Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. + Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
