Forklift Operator 2nd Shift
Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $19.00 an hour

Description: Locating, staging, tagging and movement of raw materials and finished goods. 

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

Completing the daily forklift inspection sheet.Locating and unloading of incoming raw materials from warehouse to the staging area for verification.Staging run production and retrieving all raw materials for the production lines through the bar-coding system.Creating pallet tags for each pallet and being responsible for printing and verifying correct information on the pallet tags.Retrieves all finished goods and moves product to the Warehouse for inventory using the bar-coding system and FIFOOnce finished goods are ready to be picked and staged for delivery, checking for placement of the order through the bar-coding system with close attention to FIFO.Confirming the total shipment has been staged through the bar-coding system and bill of lading and making certain all lot codes and product information are correct.Assist in other areas of the warehouse operation when time and schedule allows.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Comply with the current SQF requirements for food manufacturing and trained in all required food safety / quality programs including but not limited to Personal Hygiene, Allergens, Sanitation, HARPC, Organic Processing, Food Defense, and Security and Threat AwarenessResponsible for reporting any food safety, quality and employee safety issues to management

Ability to be constantly alert of surroundingsAbility to work in a safe mannerWear and use required PPE

Experience Required:

High School diploma or GED required.Prior forklift experience preferred.
