Overall Purpose of the Forklift Driver \/ Quality Inspector\n

Provide Quality services and support for all missions assigned to a manufacturing or warehouse site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment. \n

Reports to\n

Site Supervisor\/Site Leaders\n

Inspector Responsibilities\n

(To include but not limited to the following)\n

Client Relationship & Business Development\n\nAct as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria\n\n

Operations\n\nCheck\/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects\nRead and follow work instructions and general processes\nUse measuring or testing equipment as needed\nEnsure products meet quality standards\nDisplay excellent customer service \n When not driving forklift, will be inspecting parts most of the day. \nMust comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies\n\n

Organization & Management\n\nCollect and record data\n\n

Technical \n\nUtilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements \n\n

Other\n\nAny other duties as assigned\n\n

Ensure Quality services and provide Forklift support for all missions assigned to their site\n

Forklift driver Responsibilities\n

(To include but not limited to the following)\n

Client Relationship & Business Development\n\nTransporting materials to different locations within the facility to ensure operational efficiency\n\n

Operations\n\nMust perform circle check\/walk around on forklift at the beginning of every shift.\nVerifies that trucks have been properly secured.\nPerform a Blind Tally using a lumberman's count on inbound and outbound shipments, when required.\nMay band\/Strap product and verify material is ready for shipment.\nRemove any old placards.\nReturn\/manage dunnage.\nRemove skids\/containers.\nVerify quantities on labels. If a quantity has been changed, record it on the tally.\nRe-count if a variance is discovered.\nVerify appropriate placarding and markings on all outgoing shipments.\nMake sure the warehouse is organized and that the next load is staged and ready for shipment.\nWork as an inspector when required.\nComplies with relevant local Health and Safety legislation.\nSupports company Health and Safety Policies.\n\n
