**Forklift Operator** **Location:** Elizabethtown, NC **Shift:** First Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM **Pay:** $15/hour **Overview:** Adecco is currently hiring a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator for a client in Elizabethtown, NC. This role includes responsibilities in both forklift operation and shipping and receiving tasks. If you have experience in warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize merchandise and materials. + Handle loading and unloading tasks, including placing materials onto and from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. + Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift, including brakes, oil levels, and fuel, and promptly report any issues. + Adhere to all safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. + Keep work areas clean and organized by removing debris and managing hazardous materials. + Follow company policies and procedures at all times. **Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Valid forklift operator certification/license. + Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. + Strong understanding of safety protocols related to forklift operation. + Physical capability to lift heavy objects and operate a forklift in confined spaces. + Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. + Team-oriented with a proactive approach to work. **Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
