**Hiring Forklift Operator in American Canyon** **Please email resume and send a text to 510 209 2515** **Job Description** As a Forklift Operator, you will work in either the Production Department or the Warehouse Department. In the Warehouse, you will unload raw materials from semi-trucks (bins of vegetables, barrels, palletized products - glass, lids, labels, film). You will also load palletized finished products onto semi-trucks and manually depalletize shipments into smaller orders, with the heaviest items weighing 25 pounds. In Production, you will transport raw materials from the warehouse to the production lines and move finished products to the warehouse for staging/prepping to be loaded on trucks. **Hard Skills** + Experience with sit-down forklifts (gas or electric) + Knowledgeable with 2-fork forklifts + Skilled in loading and unloading + Understanding of loading patterns + Familiar with the SAP System + Experienced with inventory processes + Forklift safety **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in American Canyon, California. **Work Environment** **1st shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM. This is a fast-paced food production facility where you will operate a forklift around people on the production floor and in confined spaces. You will not sit on the forklift all day; walking is required. The floor may be wet due to vegetable juices, and the environment is GMP regulated, requiring handwashing, hair nets, beard nets, and blue smocks. No nails, lashes, polish, jewelry, or earrings are allowed. The smell of pepporcinis, jalapenos, and olives is strong, especially in production.
