Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator where your skills and dedication will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient production environment. As a Forklift Operator, you will be integral in handling and moving materials and finished products, supplying the production line with packaging materials, wrapping and handling pallets, and maintaining proper stock rotation and warehouse organization. Working under general supervision, you will follow established work and safety methods, practices, and procedures while observing company safety standards.

 

In this role, you will safely operate various types of forklifts and powered pallet jacks, ensuring continuous operations by supplying materials to the production lines. You will be responsible for wrapping and moving finished goods pallets onto trailers, loading and offloading trucks, and properly stacking products. Additionally, maintaining proper inventory levels and locations of goods using the ERP system will be key to your responsibilities. You will work collaboratively in a team environment, readily assisting other team members when necessary.

 

Ensuring proper FIFO stock rotation and performing regular inventory cycle counts are essential functions of this position. Keeping the warehouse organized and clean, and working with other departments to ensure the availability of necessary packaging materials, are also part of your duties. You will have opportunities to discuss and implement process improvements, striving to perform all tasks safely and productively.

What You Will Need:

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Required to lift, push, pull or move up to 50 lbs.

Required to work overtime when necessary.

Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.   

 Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation: Hiring Salary Range Posted: $18.91 -$25.58 / hour   Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
