Our client, a global food company in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Send and receive loads, reviewing merchandise and matching purchase orders and sales orders using SAP/RF systems.Interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.Transport materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated locations.Organize and place materials on tariffs, shelves, or in containers according to predetermined sequences such as size, style, FEFO, and product code.Conduct inventory counts and accurately record quantities of materials received or distributed using SAP/RF programs.Properly complete all inventory documents, inspections, receipts, and product shipments, ensuring they are signed and dated.Adhere to safety policies and report any incidents, following all company GMPs, food safety, food quality, and associate rules and regulations.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, cleaning, and mopping as necessary.Report any product damage and uphold a zero-damage tolerance policy.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a sit-down forklift operator.Certification in forklift operation or the ability to obtain certification.Proficiency in using hydraulic skates, electric skids (Electronic Pallet Jacks), and forklifts.High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading trucks.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.Strong mathematical, organizational, and time management skills.Inventory control experience is preferred.Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and other shifts as needed.Familiarity with RF and SAP scanners is advantageous.Excellent communication skills.

Monday to Friday5:00 AM to 1:30 PM$21.25 per hour
