“A Day in the Life”
Certified and trained forklift operator. Operates forklifts to move and retrieve modular buildings, containers, tanks, and large, heavy equipment. Operates forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials. Documents location of equipment. May update electronic tracking systems.
“What You’ll Do”
Operate forklifts to move and retrieve modular buildings, containers, tanks and large, heavy equipmentOperate forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materialsDocument location of equipmentUpdate electronic equipment tracking systemsEnsure equipment is in proper working order and documents inspections of equipment; reports discrepanciesMaintain daily inspection log(s) for equipment and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment receives periodic maintenanceHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for roleRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobFill and deliver material vouchers to production crewsOther duties as assigned
