Our client, a 3rd party logistics company is looking to hire a Reach Truck Operator for their location in New Castle, DE. The ideal candidate would need prior experience operating a reach truck or similar equipment in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include safely operating a reach truck to move products to designated storage areas.

The Day-to-Day:

Product Handling: Place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards.Housekeeping: Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient environmentOrder Picking: Locate, pick, and prepare products for shipment.Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading/unloading trucks using the reach truck.Safety Compliance: Adhere to warehouse safety policies, PPE requirements, and equipment inspection protocols.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaCertification: Reach truck operator certification or willingness to obtain it.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, such as standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and basic math skills for inventory tracking.Knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and inventory management procedures.
