**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves operating double wide forklifts, 2/3/4 stage lifts to load and unload freight trucks and rail cars filled with beer, wine, soft drinks, and spirits. This position will require you to work across three locations: two on Swan Island and one on Marine Drive. You will be responsible for moving palletized full loads around a large, temperature-controlled warehouse using primarily sit-down electric forklifts and RF scanning systems. **Responsibilities** + Operate double wide forklifts, 2/3/4 stage lifts to load and unload freight trucks and rail cars. + Move palletized full loads around the warehouse using sit-down electric forklifts. + Utilize RF scanning systems and scannable barcodes on the floor and on placards. + Ensure safe and efficient material handling, inventory management, and storage. + Assist with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of experience in a distribution facility specifically with forklift operation. + Proficiency in operating double wide forklifts, 2/3/4 stage lifts, and sit-down electric forklifts. + Experience with RF scanners, order picking, and pallet jacks. + Strong skills in material handling, inventory management, and storage. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in shipping and receiving tasks. + Ability to use reach trucks and perform stockroom duties. **Why Work Here?** We offer full paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees, with family plans available at a low rate.
