The Job You Will Perform:
Effectively unload unfinished blanks from the corrugator and assemble rows in WIP area. Load converting machines with correct orders to be produced based on machine line ups. Be able to keep up with the flow of production. Ensure inventory is correct and order quantities remain consistent with customer requirements. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, pull packs or other power equipment. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following indicated work methods. Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Other duties as assigned by Managers and our Supervisors/Shift Leader Be accountable for all orders in the WIP area.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Be able to read and understand loading instructions. Be able to understand and follow all safety rules. Be able to read and understand machine line up. Able to understand and accurately utilize KIWI. Able to utilize RF scanner and perform cycle counts to verify quantities. MUST be dependable. Able to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
