**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a Forklift Operator in our distribution center for a company that manufactures lights, you will primarily operate various types of forklifts to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role is vital to maintaining our high standards of order fulfillment and inventory management. **Responsibilities** + Operate Double Deep Reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move products within the warehouse. + Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles. + Handle materials manually, including packing orders and preparing them for shipment. + Ensure the accurate picking and packing of orders. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Assist in the cross-training of team members on various machinery and warehouse tasks. + Support overall warehouse operations as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating Double Deep Reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers. + Experience in material handling, including loading, unloading, and packing orders. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Good communication and teamwork skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility to work in various aspects of the warehouse as needed. + Ability to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. + Willingness to learn and be cross-trained on all machinery. **Why Work Here?** Join our dynamic and supportive team where you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. You will be part of a small team of 12 people, working on the 8am-4:30pm shift.
