Onin Staffing is seeking a Forklift Operator for a growing company in the Durham, NC area! If you have forklift experience and are looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator:

Receiving/Put-Away:

Safely unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.Accurately input data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Efficiently stack and store products in designated areas.

Order Picking:

Pull and prepare orders for shipment with attention to accuracy.Operate powered equipment, such as forklifts or electric pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.Maintain clean and organized workspaces.

Delivery:

Move products from staging or storage to production lines and/or docks.Verify documentation accompanies shipments.

Inventory Control:

Record and report inventory data to maintain tight controls.Assist with physical inventories and stock rotation.

Safety and Maintenance:

Follow safety standards, including Standard Operating Procedures.Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.Contribute to a clean, safe, and compliant workplace.


Work Experience
Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience: 6+ months in warehouse/logistics/distribution environments.Certification: Current or prior forklift certification preferred.Skills: Basic computer knowledge, familiarity with RF scanners and WMS.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly lift and move items weighing 21-50 lbs.Stand, squat, and reach throughout the shift.Work in warehouse temperatures that vary with seasons.
