Forklift Operator
**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves assembling and filling orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions, as well as loading and unloading common carrier and company vehicles. The operator will also process paperwork regarding shipments and ensure the accuracy of merchandise being shipped. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions. + Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles. + Assemble customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL. + Process paperwork for shipments, including verifying merchandise, applying correct postage, filling out BOL information for LTL shipments, and following customer shipping instructions. + Gather assembled orders in carts, verify their quantities and descriptions, and count and write total quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice. + Pack each order into a container and arrange the container onto a shelf according to truck route. + Verify quantities and items being shipped against the invoice. + Substitute for other warehouse personnel when needed. + Use a scanner for Warehouse Management System, picking orders, and general put away of material after receipt. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and general material handling. + Knowledge of warehouse operations and shipping processes. + Ability to meet deadlines and maintain an excellent attendance record. + Willingness to work overtime as needed. + General knowledge of electrical products. + Effective communication skills to collaborate with co-workers and satisfy customer requirements. + Basic mathematical skills for accurate job task completion. + Strong organizational and prioritization skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with warehouse management systems and scanning technology. **What's in it for you?** + Weekly pay + Benefits: 401k, vision, health, dental **Why Work Here?** Our company offers significant opportunities for career growth, providing a stable and supportive work environment.
