**Job Title: Forklift operator** **Job Description** The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving and putting away freight/stock, picking and building pallets for orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires experience with stand-up CROWN forklifts and includes manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. **Responsibilities** + Receive and put-away freight/stock + Pick and build pallets for orders + Maintain a clean and safe work environment + Assist other areas when needed + Perform shipping and receiving duties + Operate stand-up CROWN forklifts + Unloading, attention to detail, sorting, problem-solving, discrepancy checking, and auditing + Verify items against the record of shipment and inspect their condition + Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications + Record received and shipped items according to established procedures + Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas + Complete written and computerized documentation **Essential Skills** + Experience with stand-up CROWN forklifts + Manual and clerical skills related to shipping and receiving + Attention to detail + Problem-solving skills + Ability to verify and inspect shipment items + Experience with computerized documentation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Over 1 year of experience using stand-up CROWN forklifts + Familiarity with basiloid attachments on forklifts + Ability to learn new processes and adapt to different tasks + Prioritization of safety, accuracy, and productivity + Training in safety procedures and the company's methods **Why Work Here?** Career opportunities with room for growth and promotions are available. The available shift is the Swing Shift, from 11am to 7:30pm. Employees work 46 hours a week. The warehouse emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity, and it is not automated like larger warehouses such as Amazon. Employees will undergo a thorough training period, including safety training and hands-on experience on the warehouse floor. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
