A forklift operator, also known as a material handler, is responsible for moving materials around a warehouse, factory, construction site, or storage facility using forklifts and other machinery. Their duties include:
Loading and unloading: Picking, packing, and loading products onto and off trailers, and moving materials around the facilityStacking: Stacking loads in the correct storage baysLabeling: Labeling and sorting incoming and outgoing shipmentsMaintenance: Inspecting machinery and performing regular maintenance to ensure safetyDocumentation: Completing forms and handling documentationRecord keeping: Maintaining accurate production records and reporting issuesSafety: Ensuring food safety, workplace safety, and cleanlinessCommunication: Using radio communications to determine prioritiesTeamwork: Working independently and as part of a teamThe pay rate will be 23/hr and it will be on 1st shift starting around 7am!
The PAC Group is launching a brand new site and will be needing roughly 200 workers to help get the job done! Everything from material handlers and pod technicians to forklift operators and tool technicians. It will closely resemble a construction site type environment and the project should take around 7 months to complete. They want workers who are motivated and reliable. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00
