Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading and loading kegs, efficiently locating and moving materials, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This role requires previous stand-up forklift experience, the ability to use an RF scanner, and familiarity with WMS/SAP systems.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in unloading and loading of kegs (new and used) when trucks arrive.Operate a stand-up forklift efficiently and safely.Use RF scanners and WMS/SAP systems to manage inventory.Locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area using provided bin numbers.Be solution-oriented in locating and moving materials in the stockroom.Load and unload shipping trucks.Prepare packages for shipping.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse during downtime.Essential SkillsForklift operating (stand-up)RF scanner usageInventory managementMaterial handlingGeneral laborTruck loading and unloadingAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust be at least 21 years old to work onsite.2 years of warehouse experience.Previous food and beverage experience preferred.Forklift experience preferred (will certify on site).Ability to lift cases up to 35lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170lbs.Basic computer skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The warehouse is climate-controlled, though you may need to enter refrigerated areas to retrieve products or cases. Shifts available are: 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, and 3rd shift from 9pm to 7:30am, Monday through Thursday. Be open to working weekends, coming in early, and working 12-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00
