Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

Our distribution facility is looking for a skilled forklift operator (Sit-down Counterbalance, Stand-up Counterbalance, and Reach truck) to perform tasks associated with unloading and putting away lawn products from trailers and stacking them neatly and safely. This position involves moving goods from one place to another on the loading docks or in the warehouse. The primary focus of this position is as an unloader/loader/replenisher/auditor, where the operator will be required to replenish pick and bulk areas with products.

ResponsibilitiesPick orders from pick sheets to manager's expectations, which includes wrapping pallets with shrink-wrap by hand or with an electric power wrapper.Perform order picking which involves lifting and re-palletizing products at a company standard of 120 CPH.Unpack cartons and boxes to check the material or repack for internal projects.Compare data against documents provided by management and note any irregularities.Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer service standards are met.Provide quality service to clients by ensuring all tasks are completed quickly, accurately, and damage-free.Essential SkillsExperience with Sit-down Counterbalance (brand is Toyota)Experience with Raymond ReachExperience with unloading and put-awaysOrder pickingAbility to perform heavy liftingStrong communication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsForklift Certification1+ year of experience on all machines listed aboveExperience with warehouse pick sheetsCustomer service experienceWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overtime may be available during busy times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky View County, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
