Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves operating a sit-down Toyota propane forklift with a clutch brake to transport unfinished and finished materials, loading and unloading trailers, and using an RF scanner. You will be responsible for handling bundles of cardboard, loading them onto lines for printing, removing plastic wrapping and paper inserts, and transporting materials to and from machinery to docks. The machinery operates at a fast pace, and you must become acclimated to the speed to perform efficiently.

Work Environment
The plant is medium-sized, very organized, and highly automated, with around 30 workers on the plant side. The work environment is focused on quality rather than speed, creating a laid-back atmosphere. Candidates are required to wear steel toe boots. The role includes two shifts: 1st shift from 6 AM to 2 PM, and 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10 PM, with training on the 1st shift for two weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
