Ironwear, a leader in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturing, is looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficiency and safety of our operations, assisting in the movement and handling of goods while adhering to safety procedures. Job Responsibilities: + Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse. + Inspect forklifts and other equipment for defects before use. + Safely stack and unstack goods in accordance with ISO quality standards. + Ensure accurate record-keeping of material movements and reports. + Assist in inventory control and managing stock levels. + Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient workflow. + Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety standards. + Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and management regarding material needs and inventory status. Requirements + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Valid forklift operator certification. + At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. + Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. + Good attention to detail and organizational skills. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Basic mathematical skills for inventory management. Additional Skills: + Experience with warehouse management software is a plus. + Proficient in using hand-held scanners and barcode systems. + Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
