Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will use a stand-up forklift to pick and pull orders, load and unload trucks, and manage inventory. You will receive orders from customers, pick the necessary items, and prepare them for loading onto customer trucks. The role involves 70% forklift work and 30% manual labor, including wrapping products, picking products by hand off the pallet, rearranging the warehouse, and ensuring the work area is clean and organized.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a stand-up forklift to pick and pull orders.Load and unload trucks with customer orders.Receive and process orders from customers.Prepare picked orders for loading onto customer trucks.Perform general labor tasks such as wrapping products and picking products by hand off pallets.Rearrange the warehouse as needed.Ensure the work area is clean and organized.Manage warehouse inventory and perform data entry tasks.Essential SkillsExperience operating a stand-up forklift.Ability to pull and prepare orders accurately.Experience with warehouse inventory control.Proficiency in data entry.

Work Environment

The work environment is a cold refrigerated setting. Employees will be standing for 8+ hours while performing their duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VISTA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
