**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for receiving and checking incoming parts, picking part orders, maintaining finished goods and parts, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility. You will also be cross-trained within the department and expected to adhere to company policies and safety regulations. Hours: 9:30am-6pm Pay: $18/hour (with room for growth) **Responsibilities** + Receive and check incoming parts for accuracy from vendors, update the computer system, and place in the appropriate warehouse location. + Pick part orders in both low and high locations using an RF scanner and load orders onto production carts. + Participate in cycle counting and bin/space consolidation programs, maintain the cleanliness of inventory and the warehouse facility. + Cross-train within the department and work in other departments as necessary. + Identify and address potential or repetitive errors by other departments and associates, verify your work and the work of others to meet customer expectations. + Adhere to company handbook and all departmental rules and regulations, including respecting fellow employees and ensuring safety. + Maintain warehouse equipment as per schedule, report any equipment problems to the supervisor or manager immediately, and keep the work area neat and organized. + Accept responsibility for actions and work performed, maintain a positive attitude, function well in a team environment, and show respect for fellow associates at all times. + Participate in all company-sponsored activities, including suggestion programs and quality training. + Perform other duties as required. **Essential Skills** + Experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts (1 year) + Experience in packing + Experience in shipping and receiving **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with inventory, picking, packing, material handling, and using an RF scanner **Why Work Here?** Employees have the opportunity to become permanent within 3-6 months and are eligible for production bonuses every April and October.
