Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will spend 80% of your workday operating a sit-down forklift and 20% performing additional duties. Your primary responsibility will be moving bins to different locations on the production floor, inspecting loads, building pallets, picking orders, and general cleaning. You will operate a single double forklift, which has the function to pick up two pallets at a time.

ResponsibilitiesMove bins to different locations on the production floor.Inspect loads and build pallets.Pick orders and perform general cleaning tasks.Operate a single double forklift to pick up two pallets at a time.Store bins of juice after they are filled and discharged from the filler.Ensure the HPP process is continuously supplied with juice, keeping bin dumpers stocked and ready.Organize bins of juice to prevent mixing.Transport materials in the bottling department using NetSuite via computer, phone, or handheld devices.Organize pallets and materials, manage dunnage, and load trailers.Locate and deliver empty bins as needed.Move completed pallets onto the shrink wrap machine and accurately document pallet counts.Wrap and document pallets in real-time.Organize areas within Packaging/Packout and return unused materials to their designated areas.Transfer supplies systematically using NetSuite/RF Smart applications.Operate equipment safely, quickly, and efficiently.Report any safety concerns or issues promptly.Report any misuse of equipment by other operators.Properly document and report any work-related accidents or incidents.Ensure conveyors do not become backed up while fillers are running.Complete dunnage tasks daily and load trailers with the correct dunnage.Supply HPP operations with bins of juice for bin dumpers.Maintain organization and cleanliness in Building 2.Retrieve materials as needed and accurately record them in NetSuite or RF Smart systems.Keep all areas organized and ensure pathways are clear.Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant.Regular and reliable attendance.Essential Skills1-2 years of sit-down forklift operation experience.Proficiency with computers and handheld devices.Experience with RF Smart systems.Ability to follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions.Flexibility in performing various functions depending on the area of operation.Experience assisting supervision, management, leads, and operators as needed.Skilled in paperwork documentation.Ability to lift 50lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsData entry experience in NetSuite preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment varies and can include wet or dry conditions, with temperatures as low as 35F, similar to a cold room at Costco. You will be assigned to any of the three buildings based on daily needs and may work in dry areas, refrigerated areas, or environments with temperatures as low as -10 degrees, with proper PPE provided. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
