Our client, a well-established provider of high-quality home and kitchen products, is looking for a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join their team in Simi Valley, CA. This role involves managing warehouse operations, processing orders, ensuring inventory accuracy, and delivering exceptional customer service through safe and efficient practices.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process incoming orders, including thorough documentation.Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.Maintain accurate inventory counts and rotate products regularly.Load and prepare products for shipping, ensuring quality and accuracy.Deliver products to customer residences using company vehicles and complete basic vehicle maintenance.Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with warehousing policies.Keep detailed reports of shipments, inventory, and incoming parcels.Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in a warehouse environment (minimum 1 year preferred).Forklift and order picker certification preferred.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.Knowledge of inventory controls, data systems, and warehouse safety protocols.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform physical tasks.Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.Appliance installation experience is a plus.Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hour.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime and occasional weekend work.
