**Job Title: Warehouse Worker - $19-$21/HR** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will assist with loading and unloading freight, data entry, and performing final touch-ups on freight and orders. This role involves a mix of material handling and product assembly. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload freight onto and off trucks, primarily open flatbed trucks. + Work with truck drivers to ensure products are correctly strapped down or removed. + Enter data and orders into the computer after unloading equipment. + Perform final touch-ups on freight and orders. + Locate material and move it to the appropriate area using a forklift. + Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping. + Load material onto truck trailers, ensuring optimal delivery sequence. + Verify material to confirm correct items are placed on trucks. + Stage loads for full truck and LTL shipments. + Close production work orders as needed. + Perform assembly work when required. + Pick parts and products for trucks. + Collect and organize items ordered by customers and prepare them for shipment. + Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods. + Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. + The shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm **Essential Skills** + 1 year of sit-down forklift experience. + Mechanically inclined. + Attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel toe boots. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy long-term growth opportunities within the company. The warehouse is relatively clean, with separate manufacturing departments and an air-conditioned cafeteria. Candidates should be prepared for a possibility of getting dirty throughout the day and are expected to maintain a clean work station. , with opportunities for early start or voluntary weekend overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
