**Job Title: Forklift Operator (Turret Forklift)**
**Job Description**
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, picking, and maintaining finished goods and parts. You will also be involved in cycle counting, bin consolidation, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the inventory and warehouse facility. This role requires cross-training within the department and working in other departments as necessary. The position involves maintaining warehouse equipment, adhering to company regulations, and participating in company-sponsored activities. A positive attitude, teamwork, and respect for fellow associates are essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive and check incoming parts for accuracy from vendors, update the computer system, and place parts in the appropriate warehouse location.
+ Pick part orders in both low and high locations using an RF scanner and load orders onto production carts.
+ Participate in cycle counting and bin/space consolidation programs, and maintain the general cleanliness of the inventory and warehouse facility.
+ Cross-train within the department and work in other departments as necessary.
+ Identify and correct potential errors by other departments and associates, and verify work to ensure customer expectations are met.
+ Adhere to the company handbook and all departmental rules and regulations, including respect for fellow employees and safety.
+ Maintain warehouse equipment as per schedule and report any equipment issues immediately to the supervisor or manager.
+ Maintain a neat and organized work area, accept responsibility for actions and work performed, and maintain a positive attitude.
+ Participate in company-sponsored activities, including suggestion programs and quality training.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
+ Experience in packing, shipping, and receiving.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with inventory management, picking, packing, material handling, and using an RF scanner.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a large, well-lit, and temperature-controlled warehouse. The facility is known for its industry-leading efficiency and reliability, and is considered a top manufacturer of automated drives and motors. The Buffalo Grove facility is one of five in the US and is divided into manufacturing and production areas. The production building houses 150 employees, with around 100 working in production. The facility is extremely clean, organized, and highly automated.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a position based out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
