Our client, a leading product distributor specializing in logistics, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently operating a sit-down forklift in narrow aisles to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or distribution center, including placing products on shelves up to 12 feet high.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate sit-down forklifts in narrow aisles, ensuring precision when lifting and placing products on shelves up to 12 feet high.Perform ticketing, packaging, and labeling of products.Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.Palletize products for storage or shipment.Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods.Conduct inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.Perform general warehouse tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the facility.Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.Collaborate with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.Assist with additional duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certification with experience in operating sit-down forklifts in narrow aisles.Ability to safely maneuver forklifts to lift and place items on high shelves (up to 12 feet).Previous warehouse experience is preferred.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.
