Job Description:

Location: Joliet, Illinois

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Forklift Operator candidates in the Joliet, IL area. This position ensures the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment within the facility, including, but not limited to, forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment during material handling and warehousing as required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment while entering and exiting of trailers.
• Responsible for the safety of all personnel within given safety zones of operating equipment.
• Charged with overseeing the secure transportation of goods to and from various locations.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must have 3+ years of forklift experience.
• Must be able to work 6am-230pm
• Requires a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, materials handling, and distribution/transportation processes and policies to effectively meet business needs.
