Come start a career with us at CertainTeed as a Take Off Driver. In this position, employees will be responsible for the operation of forklifts to transport and stack materials in a safe and productive manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift. Loading and Unloading Material (flatbed trailers, 53’ vans, and rail cars) from a dock and outdoor yard during all seasons and weather conditions. Read and understand what product(s) to select, how to load and unload trucks based on pick documents and bills of lading. Follows the Logistics Standard Operating Procedures, supports and maintains warehouse stock location system and code dates to ensure proper inventory turns and adherence to FIFO principles. Receives Incoming Finished Goods and Raw Materials and verifies accuracy. Provides general Customer Service to Customers and Transportation providers Ability to safely lift, carry, and stack up to 55lb bundles of roofing shingles/rolls. General housekeeping and all other related tasks as assigned

Monday-Friday, Saturday or Sunday depending on production needs Shift: 3rd shift

Compensation

Salary: $24.87 per hour Annual year-end bonus Annual raises based on union contract
