**_Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator_** **_Location: Oceanside, California_** **_Compensation: $20/hr - $22/hr_** **_Job Type: Contract to Hire_** **Position Overview:** We are looking for a reliable Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Oceanside. In this role, you will spend 80% of your time operating a sit-down forklift and the remaining 20% on various additional tasks. Your main responsibilities will include moving bins around the production floor, inspecting loads, building pallets, picking orders, and performing general cleaning. You will be operating a single double forklift, which can handle two pallets simultaneously. **Key Responsibilities:** + Prevent conveyor backups while fillers are running. + Complete daily dunnage tasks and load trailers with the correct dunnage. + Retrieve necessary materials and return unused materials to their designated areas. + Avoid mixing different types or sizes of juices. + Ensure all pallets are properly wrapped and documented on pallet count sheets in real-time. + Wrap pallets securely to prevent shifting during transport without causing damage to the products. **Essential Skills and Qualifications:** + 1-2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift. + Proficiency with computers and handheld devices. + Experience with RF Smart systems. + Strong paperwork documentation skills. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **_Why Join Us?_** _We offer comprehensive benefits upon conversion, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other ancillary benefits.
