Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently seeking A and B shift Forklift Operators, in **Rochester, NY.** The Forklift Operator is responsible for the operation of a forklift or other heavy equipment to safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the facility.
**Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:**
• Operate forklifts or other heavy machinery to move, stack, and relocate merchandise safely around the facility.
• Perform safety checks on equipment, including fluid levels (oil, water, and fuel) before use.
• Ensure production lines have empty pallets available and report inventory levels to the supervisor.
• Remove palletized bags from production lines and place them on stretch-wrappers to secure them.
• Organize and store palletized inventory properly, ensuring safety and preventing damage to products.
• Participate in maintaining cleanliness by restacking, picking up trash, and washing equipment as needed.
**Requirements of the Forklift Operator:**
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other heavy machinery.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and handling physical demands of the job.
• Comfortable with climbing on and off equipment and sitting for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Basic math skills to perform inventory counts and ensure correct item quantities.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
