Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:  Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.  Follow, comply, and enforce all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards).   Safely position forks/ lifting platform under, over, or around loaded racks and transport load to designated area.  Use knowledge of principles of operating safety rules and practices.  Must be able to perform Scanning and proper inventory control.  Use truck stability factors with and without a load.  Knowledge of the capabilities of the equipment and attachments.  Knowledge of purpose, use and limitations of controls.  Consistently perform proper pre-shift inspection every shift.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS ​PHYSICAL DEMANDS Some of the physical demands of this position include the ability to repetitively lift 25-40 pounds, frequent sitting, occasionally standing, walking, stooping, reaching overhead, reaching forward, reaching below waist, handling, both hands required, both legs required.

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED required 

 

TECHNICAL TRAINING:  Valid driver’s license. Current forklift license to be obtained within 1 week of hired. Documented proof of training every three years for maintenance of fork lift/truck license must be maintained. WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferred

Pay range: $19.55 - $24. per hour
