Our client, a logistics and distribution company, is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in Schenectady, NY. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse.Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.Move materials around the warehouse, including stacking them on shelves.Perform basic maintenance and preventive maintenance on forklifts.Follow safety regulations and ensure the work area is clear and safe.Communicate with team members to ensure safety and efficiency.Prepare customer orders for loading onto trucks.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay rate: $19 per hour.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.Possible overtime if workload is heavy.
