**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are looking to add a skilled forklift operator and material handler to our team. This position utilizes a sit-down forklift and is crucial for our welding team. The forklift operator will be responsible for feeding racks to the production welders and pulling them upon completion. Once the racks have been completed, the forklift operator will take the racks to the wash bay and prep them before being sent to powder coating.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a sit-down forklift to feed racks to the production welders.
+ Pull completed racks from welders and transport them to the wash bay.
+ Prepare racks for powder coating.
+ Handle materials as needed in the production process.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
+ Material handling experience.

**Work Environment**
The production facility is not climate controlled, which means it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The first shift hours are from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling a 45-hour work week.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erie, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
