**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are a leading distributor of commercial and industrial hoses, including thermoplastic, rubber, and metal hose products, along with accessories such as couplings and fittings. We are seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to join our team in Carlisle, PA. This position involves operating sit-down and reach trucks on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down and reach trucks to move and handle materials. + Perform inventory management and material handling tasks. + Pick and pack orders using an RF scanner. + Assist with general labor tasks as needed. + Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklift equipment. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year experience operating sit-down and reach trucks. + Proficient in inventory management and material handling. + Experience using RF scanners. + Ability to perform a lift test successfully before starting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with order picking is preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits when brought on permanently. The work environment includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid breaks. The role requires comfort with a smaller team setting. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
